Refund Policy

The basics

At Dead Serious, we take our work seriously—even when dealing with the unexplained. We are committed to providing thoughtful, professional, and personalized experiences through our paranormal investigations, home energy cleansings, tarot readings, and spiritual offerings.

Because many of our services involve preparation, reserved appointment times, personalized work, and intangible experiences, the following refund and cancellation policies apply.

Paranormal Investigations

All paranormal investigations require advance scheduling and preparation.

Cancellations made at least 48 hours before a scheduled investigation: Eligible for a full refund.
Cancellations made within 48 hours of a scheduled investigation: Subject to a cancellation fee equal to 50% of the service price.
Same-day cancellations or no-shows: Non-refundable.
Rescheduling: Appointments may be rescheduled once without penalty when requested at least 24 hours in advance, subject to availability.

Once an investigation has been completed, all payments are final.

Dead Serious does not guarantee the detection, documentation, or confirmation of paranormal activity. The absence of unusual phenomena, evidence, or perceived spiritual activity does not constitute grounds for a refund.

Home Energy Cleansings & Blessings

Home energy cleansings and blessings are personalized services that may require advance preparation, materials, and travel.

Cancellations made at least 48 hours in advance: Eligible for a full refund.
Cancellations made within 48 hours: Subject to a cancellation fee equal to 50% of the service price.
Same-day cancellations or no-shows: Non-refundable.
Completed services: Non-refundable.

Energy cleansing and blessing services are spiritual practices intended to support personal intentions, reflection, and a sense of well-being.

Because spiritual experiences and outcomes are subjective, Dead Serious cannot guarantee specific results, changes in energy, removal of perceived spiritual activity, or other desired outcomes.

Tarot Readings

Most tarot readings are conducted privately and delivered electronically as written interpretations.

Because each reading is personalized to the client's questions and circumstances, the following policies apply:

Before a reading has begun: A full refund may be requested.
Once a reading is in progress: Orders are non-refundable.
After delivery: All sales are final.

Tarot readings are offered for personal insight, reflection, and entertainment. They do not guarantee predictions, outcomes, or future events.

Dissatisfaction with a particular interpretation or the outcome of a reading does not qualify for a refund.

If you experience a technical issue or do not receive your completed reading, please contact us so we can resolve the issue.

Custom Spiritual Items & Products

Dead Serious may offer personalized spiritual items, including gris-gris bags, intention-based charms, blessed objects, crystals, and other spiritual tools.

Custom and personalized items: All sales are final once preparation or customization has begun.

Damaged or incorrect orders: Please contact us within 7 days of delivery with photographs and a description of the issue. We will work with you to arrange an appropriate replacement or refund.

Spiritual items are created or selected with care and intention. However, specific spiritual, emotional, financial, romantic, or other outcomes cannot be guaranteed.

Cancellations by Dead Serious

In rare circumstances, Dead Serious may need to cancel or reschedule an appointment due to illness, unsafe conditions, severe weather, or other unforeseen circumstances.

If we cancel a service before it is performed, clients may choose between rescheduling and receiving a full refund.

Dead Serious reserves the right to decline or discontinue services when conditions present safety concerns or when a requested service falls outside our professional or ethical boundaries. Any refund in these circumstances will be determined based on the services already performed and applicable law.

Refund Processing

Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method whenever possible.

Please allow 5–10 business days for refunds to appear, depending on your financial institution or payment provider.

Please include your name, service or order details, and a brief explanation of your request.

We value transparency, respectful communication, and fair treatment of every client.

Dead Serious reserves the right to update this policy at any time. The policy in effect at the time of purchase or booking will generally apply to that transaction, subject to applicable law.
